Emily Dickinson once more...
If I Can Stop
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain
Everything you do, do it out of love, and your life will be truly worthy of living;
a life of servitude to others, and through them, to your God in Heaven
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain
Everything you do, do it out of love, and your life will be truly worthy of living;
a life of servitude to others, and through them, to your God in Heaven
